Item Details
Pair of lidded ceramic containers from the Hoi An Hoard. Largest is 2 1/8". Pair of pottery vessels from the Hoi An Hoard with original catalog number stickers on bottom. Both vessels are around 2 1/8" wide. The Hoi An shipwreck hoard refers to a collection of artifacts recovered from a shipwreck off the coast of Vietnam near the town of Hoi An. The ship is believed to have sunk in the late 15th or early 16th century and was carrying a diverse range of goods, including ceramics, precious metals, and other luxury items. The artifacts provide valuable insights into maritime trade and cultural exchange in the region during that time period. From the collection of Larry Morris.
